Windows 10: running a chkdsk /f /r /x from a usb media image. got unspecified error 6e74667363686b2e...

Hi, our office computer failed and got blue screen of death . went into recovery, no recovery of boot. hard drive 0 - s/n ZDEFHFDX0 short self test unsuccessful. REbuilt system with win10 image off usb drive. decided to run a full chkdsk on the hard drive. chkdsk /f /r /x from usb boot image. error code was 2000-0142 validation was 115474 on Dell assist recovery screen. Was going to run bootrec after checkdisk completed. error in chkdsk was in phase 5. i also notice at boot time, it verifys a certain sector of hard drive and then disssappears the message. is that integrity

unfortunately doing anything dealing with the drive will result in this prompt

it won't allow me at all access or play with the properties. im doing one last chkdsk /r and hoping it will work if not i'll attempt the methods suggested - - - Updated - - -

Sorry for the double post! My post is a separate case from the originator of this thread. I replied to this thread because the user seemed to have the same issue as me. I was transferring video files between my PC and my iPad using external drive; which I've been doing for maybe 2yrs prior to this issue. the drive is saying it's inaccessible/incorrect parameter and The Volume Does Not Contain a Recognized File System I tried doing chkdsk /f /r /x to repair but unfortunately the process aborted midway and gave me an error. I was hoping to see if there was any chance for me to save any on the external drive before i just re-format the drive. The drive in question is Disk 4. my other drives are just other PC drives. Oddly enough it now shows drive letter and claims the disk is healthy despite not allowing me to access it

Hello! i'm currently trying to do a chkdsk /f because my ssd became raw and unaccessible, i know theres a format option but i have been wait for 2 hours and almost nothing has happened, how can i fix this error i get on chkdsk?

the errors i keep getting are:

"An unspecified error occurred (696e647863686b2e 9cd)"

"An unspecified error occurred (6e74667363686b2e 17b4)"

Doing chkdsk /x also doesnt work, any help?

Thanks in advance.I was trying to repair a USB drive G. i cant seem to find a relevant fix for the error code. and keeps on coming up every time i run chkdsk command.
