    Notebook AORUS 17 XE5Windows 11 Pro 64 bitsIntel I7-12700HNvidia RTX 3070 ti laptop GPUWhen I'm running a game, the PC works correctly, I can have my two monitors working and multiple apps running. But if I close the game or if I don't open a game at all, after some time the screen flashes and the second monitor is deactivated and if I try to reestart the PC, open a game or something similar a blue screen appears saying: VIDEO_DXGKRNL_FATAL_ERROR.I tried running PC health checks, cleanly reinstalling graphic drivers and games, SFC /SCANNOW and some others and it did not help at all.Thanks for

    Laptop gpu crashing while playing games

    The problem started a week ago. Laptop crashed and gave BSOD with video_dxgkrnl_fatal_error and restarted itself and after restart the gpu wasn't listed in anywhere.

    Today I found out that everything functions normally when the laptop isn't plugged in,

    I can play games or browse without a problem but 5 minutes after I plug in the power it gives the same error again. My GPU is an Nvidia RTX 2060, I have tried updating BIOS, uninstalling the driver using the DDU tool, using an older driver version even a clean reset of the PC, but nothing worked so far.

    I suggest you run rthdribl > http://www.daionet.gr.jp/~masa/archives/rthdribl_1_2.zip
    Increase the window size step by step and watch your vga temps permanently.
    What happens?
    If it crashes, run at stock speeds as suggested before and retry.

    P.S.: When your system locks, does the display signal turn off after a time?
    Stuttering sound or no sound at all when freezing?
    What X1800XT model do you own exactly?

    all games crash!

    ive watch my temps and both the cpu and gpu are within normal ranges. when it freezes it simply freezes the image and stops the sound. i must reboot to get back to windows.
