  1. How to decrypt user's files after domain migration?

Hi Community! In our company, computers were migrated from the domain ABC.com to XYZ.comAt the same time, the change of logins was implemented, for example: Before migration: ABC\u12345After migration: XYZ\e12345Ater migration user login to new e12345 account, new folder was created C:\Users\e12345. But in this folder is only "new" Appdata folder. Rest folders like Desktop, Documents etc. are linked from old user's folder: C:\Users\u12345I have one computer, where user has encrypted one folder - Desktop - with all files in it. After migration user can't open any encrypted files. And he did not

    Migrate Locale Profile to Domain

I removed my reply because watching those instructions on TechNet I started wondering if they really work with Windows 10.

Anyway, whatever you try create first a dummy profile, customize it a bit and move it to domain. If everything works, you can then move real profiles.

How to Migrate Local User Accounts to Domain User Accounts

    Hi Everyone,

We have several workstations that are not in our domain yet. We want to add these to the domain, and migrate the local user accounts to domain accounts so that the users retain their files, settings, etc.

Any idea on how to do this for Windows 10? I found an article for an older version of Windows, but that method did not work. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
