Windows 10: Visual Studio Installer unable to detect that VS2022 is installed, instead showing there...

I have the thing installed at F:\VisualStudio2022 and it didnt show anything, as if nothing was installed before.I suspect this is registry problems

Thanks for responding, yes, I am aware of the non-store version of VS2022.

No, VS2022 does not seem to show up in the registry, at least not according to Get-AppxPackage.

 

How can I associate my Visual Studio 2022 install with Visual Studio installer?

I have a Visual Studio 2022 install, I want to add components to it but Visual Studio Installer says "No products are installed"

Clicking the button from the Visual Studio installer shows this window (I can't add the image, so I will symbolically type it out):

How can I associate it back? I don't want to re-install Visual Studio

Looks like there is a regular/non-store version of the app here.

And, to see if VS2022 Store app entry exists in the registry, open PowerShell as administrator and run:

• Get-AppxPackage -allusers | select name, packagefamilyname
  

Is VS2022 shown in the list?
