  1. How to move device drivers on D: to C:

Hello,I just bought a Lenovo Legion Pro 5i and it has two 1TB SSDs. C: has Windows, while D: has 1 folder labeled "Drivers" that contains, what I am assuming, are all the device's drivers. The reason I need to move the drivers is because I need to use the D: drive Linux. Lenovo support said to just cut and paste the drivers to the C: drive but I know there are registry entries instructing Windows where to find the drivers.Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks,Thomas

    :)

USB 2 devices not reading after win 10 upgrade, latest INF driver installed.

    Hi,

I suggest you to follow the methods below and check if it helps.

Method 1: Run Hardware and Devices Troubleshooter

Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with hardware and devices. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with your device. Refer these steps:

    • Press Windows key +X, select Control panel.

    • Change the view by option on the top right to Large icons.

    • Click on troubleshooting and click on the view all option on the left panel.

    • Run the Hardware and devices troubleshooter.
Method 2: I suggest you to update the USB Drivers.

Try updating the latest USB devices from the manufacturer's website and check if the issue persists.

Follow the steps to update the USB drivers:

    a. Press Windows key + X key and click Device Manager.

    b. Expand the USB driver.

    c. Right-click on the USB and click on Update driver software.

    d. Restart the computer and check.

Hope this helps. If the issue remains unresolved, please get back to us and we would be happy to help.

  3. D driver

You appear to freely mix the words "driver" and "drive".

    • A "drive" is a mass storage device.
    • A "driver" is a piece of software that allows Windows to address a piece of hardware. It does not need updating beyond what is included in Automatic Updates.

So when you write "D driver", do you mean "drive D:"?
