My PC will crash when playing a game but not when doing other things browsing internet etc

Hi all,My computer with rather good specs has no problem with most games except recently it keeps crashing when I play an older game Guild Wars 2 and it seems like it's only for this game that I have this issue. My computer will completely freeze and the audio will have a buzz sound. The inputs do not work and I am forced to press the manual power button to shut off the system and start it again. Sometime this issue will come rather quickly 15min during after launching the game and sometime I can keep gaming for 1-2 hours without any issues.I attached my most recent dump file to the dropbo

PC crashing while playing games and browsing

Over the last 3 days I've been randomly experiencing my pc crashing while playing games ( So far I've only been focused on Overwatch 2 and Rise of the tomb raider ). ** Update pc also crashed while browsing the internet only, no music playing etc

** On 3 days where the issue occurred, Reliability Monitor shows that dwm.exe stopped working i.e 12x and today Windows hardware error LivekernelEvent code 117, dwm.exe and desktop window manager

The screen goes black but the game and spotify can still be heard, the game sound however is stuck keeps repeating. Today alone it managed to crash 4 times mostly after a period of running fine.

The first time it got stuck today, the power button needed to be held to turn it off, 2nd and 3rd time it restarted on its own right after I joined back to the OW2 match. The games both run completely smooth before and after the crash happens

OW2 settings are on med-high as they have been, ROTTR same issue on highest or med-high settings. The temperature varies between 40 - 55 degrees Celcius ( higher temp is when a game is open )

This is a pop up while playing overwatch and the screen shutting off

I've added a few of the event viewer errors as an attachment and will below :

    - Metadata staging failed, result=0x80070490 for container '{9ACE10A5-4D40-5E54-97FF-BBE0C2B89DE8}'

The Desktop Window Manager process has exited. (Process exit code: 0xe0464645, Restart count: 1, Primary display device ID: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080)

    - Winlogon in session 1 (console) reuqested session stop using GPU, returned status STATUS_SUCCESS, with progress stage of successful

I've tried the following, most steps are from the Nvidia support team ( still in contact with them ) :

    - Nvidia cleanup + custom clean install of the driver and check updates

    - Changed Nvidia 3D settings for both games to 'Prefer maximum performance'

    - Updated latest available Intel drivers ( wifi and bluetooth in this case )

    - Checked BIOS update in MyAsus

    - Cleaned inside of pc and fans

    - All fans are set to AI cooling in armoury crate

    - Unplugged and plugged GPU back in

    - Uninstalled outdated version of GameInput service

System specs ( build is almost 2 years old ) :

    Windows 10 Home

MB: ROG Strix Z690-A gaming wifi D4

    CPU: Intel i9-12900KF, 3187mhz, 16 cores

GPU: Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 OC 10GB

    RAM: 16gb ( 2x 8 )

This is my first and only PC build and do not know that much about pc's to know what the issue could be, especially with so many similar cases. Please let me know what you'd suggest or what else I could try :') thanks
