Memory not increasing dynamically in Hyper-V with Windows 10 guest.

I have Windows 11 host and Windows 10 guest. I have enabled dynamic memory, however, memory status switches from OK to Low and then Warning with Memory Demand visibly high as well, but assigned memory never increases. Host has ample free memory and manually I have assigned 4096 and 8192 which works ok.I tried Windows 11 dev image and dynamic memory works ok with that.

Windows 10 and Hyper-V dynamic memory

Of course a Hyper-V vm becomes slower if you use dynamic memory with default settings. The Hyper-V will be constantly monitoring the demand and assign the required RAM to the vm.

For the dynamic memory to work you need to assign enough startup memory (#1 in screenshot below), increase the the memory buffer (#2) and memory weight (#3):

A Windows 10 virtual machine needs surprisingly little RAM to function well. Here in the screenshot the memory usage of a Windows 10 vm otherwise idle at the moment, only running Macrium to create a system image. Memory demand only 522 MB but because I have assigned a 35% buffer, it's using 768 MB of the assigned maximum 8 GB:

The buffer is important: When using dynamic memory and the demand suddenly increases for example due a resource heavy application being launched, it takes time for Hyper-V to assign more RAM to the vm. The bigger the buffer, the better the vm reacts to increased demand.

Dynamic memory should only be used when it really is needed, for instance when it is important to have multiple virtual machines running at the same time. Dynamic memory should not be used when installing Windows, it can make the time needed for installation somewhat longer.

Generally speaking a Windows 10 vm with 2 GB of static RAM assigned works faster than the same vm with 512 MB to 4 GB dynamic RAM.

    Windows 10 Host -- Windows 10 Guest Hyper-V -- GPU not detected

I am using the Microsoft Hyper-V virtual machine software on 1 of my Windows 10 PCs and have all kinds of VMs (Guest OSes) under it.
By default, Hyper-V gives very basic GPU capability to the VMs, without even 2D acceleration, but for Windows Vista or higher Guest OSes, an option to have some 2D/3D GPU/DirectX acceleration exists by adding a RemoteFX adapter to the Guest OS.

When I do this, then run GPU-Z on the VM/Guest OS, NO proper (or any) info shows, see screenshot:

    Larger shot is here: Dropbox

DxDiag info of GPU is here: https://s.mail.ru/36AR/US54QiCM5

Expected: Show Microsoft logo as videocard maker logo, list OS used (Windows 10 in this case, but could be Vista, Windows 7, 8/8.1/etc), and amount of memory of the GPU (such as 128 MB, 256 MB/etc).

    Please add!

Hyper-V: Lost Communication during install XPMode in Windows 7 guest

When first time installing XPmode in a Windows 7 guest hosted by Hyper V on my Windows 10, the installation freezes and Hyper-V Manager says: Communication Lost.

This happens a lillle time after step 10 of this guide is started : Windows XP Mode - Install and Setup - Windows 7 Help Forums

I've increased Memory for Windows 7 guest to 6144 MB, but no joy.
I'm on Windows 10, build 15063.726. 16GB RAM, using Virtual Switch.

This happens similar when I manually create a Virtual Machine in Virtual PC and try to boot it. *Rolleyes
