I'd like to delete all my photos in Onedrive without accidently deleting them in my Google cloud storage? Could use some advice. Thanks, Ben.

Preventing duplicate photos appearing in OneDrive cloud storage, and syncing OneDrive fully

Hi Folks,

1) I've got this problem ^, duplicate photos have been appearing in my OneDrive cloud storage for a while now, often several of the same, not just one. I've done a bit of searching for how to fix this, but the simple solution here didn't work. I'd really
like to stop it from happening as it is needlessly using up my storage space, and I need to nip it in the bud before I have thousands of duplicates to deal with.

I'm also a bit concerned about using a third-party app to *remove* the duplicates in case they completely remove photos altogether (can anyone recommend a reliable app for this?)

2) Also, I deleted some photos from my phone which is linked to OneDrive, and some disappeared in OneDrive cloud, and some didn't, even after deleting them from the recycle bin on my phone, and reloading the OneDrive page several times. Does that make sense?

As from this summer OneDrive is no longer a valid option as cloud storage the next question is pretty obvious (at least for me):

Is Photo App able to work with other cloud services (flickr, google cloud, mega....)?

Please don't suggest to buy more storage from a company that in the past promised additional storage for buy its products just take all back now.

 

Deleting on-disk OneDrive folder WITHOUT deleting from cloud?

Dear Cerberus. Er - here's a picture of my OneDrive folder, if I can work out how to attach it to this! No cloudsigns or ticks in boxes, just a long list of files I want only in the cloud, not on the hard drive (but don't want to delete FROM the cloud!!)

It's come up saying 'Attach=Config}347209[/attach] so I hope something appears when I post this! Very sorry - how do I make the ticks and cloud signs appear? BTW - there's more in that list than's appearing in the screenshot, that's why it doesn't look like that many files. Yours respectfully Chris.
