I prefer to use Hyper-V in enhanced mode on my windows 11 machine because I can then use full 4096 x 2160 display.But when I either start Hyper-V in enhanced mode or use the title-bar icon to put it into enhanced mode, my audio devices VB Cables A-D disappear from the sound devices listing in setup and disappear from the apps where they were being used, although they still appear in Device Manager.Also, when in enhanced mode it is impossible to log in with a user name that is linked to a microsoft account because no user name or password text box appears on the log-in screen.Both of these p

Hyper-V losing network after adding CPU cores

I am using Hyper-V on Windows 10 with an CentOS 7 client. When I add one or more cores to the VM always loses the network connection.

Why do I lose the network connection?

I reinstalled the VM with the same result.

When I return to 1 core, the network is back again.

 

Hyper-V

Only Pro or Enterprise versions can run Hyper-V, in addition to the other requirements listed at the link I provided earlier.

 

How to disable Hyper-V?

May I ask. Why you want to disable it

How to disable Hyper-V

1. in Control Panel : select Programs and Features.
   
2. Select : Turn Windows features on or off.
   
3. Expand Hyper-V >> expand Hyper-V Platform
   
4. and then, remove the : Hyper-V Hypervisor check box.
