Windows 10: How do I recover my stolen account if it has two factor auth?

Recently online I just had my previous account hacked and after trying to recover it myself I only found out the previous emails its tied to both first party and third party. After giving all the information I had to my original Microsoft in an account form and talking to a support agent they said that they detected unusual activity and understood my account was stolen but because they added extra info to my account for 2FA they couldn't recover it strangely. This information was added by the people who hacked my account just so they could keep my account and yet Support knows this and why its

Mail app won't sync 3rd-party IMAP accounts after adding two-factor auth to microsoft account

I added two factor authentication to my Microsoft account and installed the authenticator app on my windows phone 7.5 device. I was able to use an app password for my Hotmail account, so that works fine. Unfortunately, ever since activating two-factor auth,
I cannot sync my third-party IMAP accounts. My IMAP accounts do not require two-factor auth. I've check their passwords and settings. I can log into the IMAP accounts from other devices and the web, just not my windows phone. I tried using an app password
with the IMAP accounts on the phone in case the mail app is really routing everything through my Microsoft account somehow. It didn't work.

Is that the case? Does the mail app sync IMAP through my Microsoft account but not tell me? Such that the mail app is not really a stand alone mail client? Now that two-factor auth is enabled, do the IMAP account passwords have to be added to outlook.com?

Any ideas? I will appreciate any help anyone can offer.

 

Help how do I recover my account? It got stolen by someone with a Rambler email.

I found out that my account had been stolen from someone with a Rambler email. I tried to get back in through my Windows PIN but they said that they couldn't verify my device throught the Windows PIN.

I then tried to recover the account with the Recovery Code I have written but that did not work either.

I filled out the account recovery form but Microsoft suggested that I wait 24 hours as they do not have enough information to determine that I own the account.

Someone please help, I have a Minecraft Java and Bedrock account listed under the stolen account. It also has photos from when I used Windows phone stored in OneDrive. My only option now is to somehow access the Rambler email as I don't know what the password is to the account. I'm currently writing this from a temporary account.

Microsoft Account Stolen and Microsoft recover doesn't work.

My Microsoft account was stolen and the primary e-mail address was changed. When I go through the recover my account it fails. The PC I was using with this account is infected, so it's currently turned off pending a complete rebuild. Is there another way I can recover my account?
