Windows 10: Visual C++ 2005 Closes on "Gathering Required Information."

Whenever i try to install this prerequisite, it closes. ive tried downgrading from windows 11 to 10, resetting pc, nothing works.

To check follow the steps:

• Type Default programs & select programs & features.
• Check if Microsoft visual c++ 2005 x86
  is installed.

If yes suggest you to uninstall & reinstall Microsoft visual c++ 2005 x86
& check if the issue persists.

I need to install visual C++ 2005 but I can't find a download for it. Any advice?
