    How can I reset my locked authenticator app so I can log into Microsoft, as I need to get...


    I am trying to retrieve my recovery key because I am having a replacement part installed this morning, however when signing into Microsoft account, my authenticator keeps showing as locked and that I need a password to open it. I don't know this password. I have uninstalled the authenticator app, and reinstalled but still have the same problem. I have tried removing the auto lock but it hasn't worked. In need of urgent assistance as the Dell tech is arriving at 11.30, and it's now 10am- can anyone help?
