My ethernet cable stopped working the other day i thought since that cable is old it finally died. got a new one and it isn't working as well i go to device manager and see the My Realtek PCIe GbE family controller has the yellow caution symbol on it. Bringing it up it says Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. Code 43. I then go to check for updates but there is none in windows. then i uninstall and restarted, didn't fix it. lastly i disable and reenabled it but still nothing. i went to see if i can rollback as well but i could not pick that option. I wanted to

I see. There's definitely something going on with your PCIe controller. Since you've already installed the drivers, may I confirm if that also include the Realtek PCIe GbE Family Controller? And did you downloaded the drivers from the motherboard's manufacturer website?

You can try to disable and re-enable the PCIe controller. Another thing to try is to reinstall the Realtek PCIe GbE Family Controller driver.

Device Manager, Network Adapter showing Realtek PCIe GbE Family Controller. Ping also ok. But internet not connecting. Troubleshoot says cable is unpluged. Earlier it was working, but to power surge, it is not working. What could be the reason solution
for that.
