    Smbus Controller Missing


    Hello. I need to enable the Smbus Controller in order to use Vmware. Everywhere I searched recommended doing so through the Device Manager. However, I cannot find the Controller Driver in the Manager. Please help.

    I checked my bios's settings and i found that SMBus controller is disabled. Is that good or bad? Should i enable it? What is SMBus and what does it do exactly?*Confused Smbus Controller Missing :confused:

    On the Asus support website, did you click on the "Show All" link under chipset drivers and actually install the second one on the list?
