Windows 10: My screen is zoomed more than it should, the control alt delete screen only shows 1 of the...

My resolution was different to normal and my screen was zoomed in, it did not let me changed it and then my dad trying to help made it zoom in so much the bottom bar merged together

That reveals something is quite basically wrong, I think.

What I see after clicking System Restore is

If that's a Macrium System image, where you saw something like this:



when you created it (note all relevant partitions selected) then the way to go is indeed to restore it.
I presume that's 11/6/17, so 9 days ago, and you've not been making changes the last few days...*Biggrin

AMD driver bug - screen zooming in and out with alt tab [And Fix]

So recently i noticed my screen was zooming in and out rapidly during alt tabbing from games - roughly 10% or so. Text in a web browser was pretty obvious as it would be fuzzy, then rapidly move a little on screen and be clear again within 2-3 seconds of the alt-tab

Finally found the cause after realizing it was affecting multiple games - a setting in the new 'Radeon Settings' program.

Scaling mode on the right was on 'center' - but that slider down the bottom was invisible and set to 8%.
Changing the scaling mode to any other option caused the slider to appear, and setting it to 0% solved the problem.




TL;DR: AMD driver bug. Possibly from upgrading from older versions.

edit: 'exclusive fullscreen mode' in madVR also triggered this, which was annoying as hell - so fullscreen media players could trigger it as well.

 

All of a sudden control alt delete doesn't work ?

It works for me, but this is all it does. To be honest I thought
control/alt/delete didn't do anything these days. I was surprised
that screen.
