Windows 10: Security Issue with Microsoft Account Login regular attempts to break-in the account

So, I have an issue with my Microsoft account. There are regular multiple attempts to log in to the account however none of them have been successful till now but seems too concerning from a security POV. I tried one solution by changing my rediffmailIDprimary login to outlookIDmaking this primary. For some time, it looked like it was resolved maybe because Outlook is way more secure than other domains.But now again these attempts are happening regularly.Need help on this team.

Strange Windows 10 User Account issue.

Unfortunately I had done those steps numerous reboots, it just, reappears for no good reason. The base account isn't even a Microsoft account, it's a local account.

I haven't quite tried the built in administrator account on W10, but so far in my experience on my own computer, the built in account seemed to have absolutely no more control than I did on my own.

It's just strange, I go in, it warns me twice about deleting the account, then it's gone. Reboot, and it's back?

EDIT: Just to specify, both command line and Netplwiz both say only HIS account exists on the computer, it doesn't list this rogue account. This is what I meant in my first post about the fact that even Windows doesn't seem to believe it exists, HALF the time. *Frown

Yea, I would create a local account and just use your school account to login to Outlook and Onedrive.

Here switch between local and microsoft account.

• Are you able to login with Microsoft account in web?
• What happens exactly when you try to login using Microsoft account?

I suggest you to login to Microsoft account through online login.live.com, if you are able to login to Microsoft account on web then you can reset the password and then try to login and check if the issue persists.
