    BSOD/PC Crashes Event ID 56


    Hello, for a while now my PC has been having issues with bluescreening/crashing, I have sent my PC to a repair shop who replaced a bunch of parts and my ram recently. I've had quite a few errors in the past however due to not being able to find a minidump I can provide event viewer logs.I have already reset my windows aswell as reinstalling my drivers and nothing seems to be working, the ram they put in was slower performing ram as they claimed that the old ram I had was faulty.If you require any additional information please let me know, this was extracted by my System event viewer logs.MiniD

    Event ID 56 "Application Popup" /// Crashing every game

    Hello, I just upgraded my gpu from rx 470 to rx 6700 xt and only after that I get this error which causes games to crash, cpu and gpu temperatures are fine while gaming.

    • PC specs: I5 11400, Gigabyte Z590 vision g, rx 6700 xt, thermaltake toughpower gf3 750w, 16X2 corsair 3200 ram.
    • What I tried: Reinstalled windows, Reinstalled drivers.
    • ERROR: The description for Event ID 56 from source Application Popup cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.

      f the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event.

      The following information was included with the event:

      ACPI

      The message resource is present but the message was not found in the message table

    The problem still persists as described in that thread. The fixes offered there did not help.
    Random BSOD crashes, I cant trace the cause, and due to an unknown cause no Minidump files are being created, I would like to find the cause for these issues so I can fix them or know what needs replacing.

    BSOD/PC Crashes Event ID 56

    Application Popup Event ID 56 Crash

    Hi guys,

    My PC freezes daily. I can only hard reboot in order to get it working again. Event Viewer (see screenshot below) shows an event just before every crash - Application Popup Error with Event ID 56.

    I have had this issue ever since purchasing my PC 1 year ago and have just lived with it. I have tried resetting and reinstalling everything, nothing helps.

    Any help on how to resolve this would be much appreciated.
