    Some process is using big amount of network in intervals


    Hello everyone!I'm using windows 11:Edition Windows 11 Pro Version 23H2 Installed on ‎2/‎3/‎2024 OS build 22631.4169 Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.22700.1034.0 Few days back it started happening, that few times a minute, hourglass with cursor starts blinking and sometimes computer runs slow. Upon looking in resource monitor, CPU, disk and memory are not running at critical point, but I noticed, network graph showing spikes. When sorting processes by network usage, I just see bunch of msedgewebview2.exe and svchost.exe processes. I really can't figure out what is causing this.

    I just tried to swap the hard drive for the one you suggested keakar but i purchased rush processing so its already in step 3... *Big Grin Some process is using big amount of network in intervals :D

    Did our Epson printer get hacked?

    Another question, is this on a home network or a work network? The steps @eidairaman1 listed are always a good first step. If this is on a work network you manage, I'd be much more concerned than the home one. It is possible someone is screwing with you, but malware could also be the culprit.
