Windows 10: HARWARE RESERVED MEMORY IS 10.1GB

as i bought my laptop hp pavilion gaming 15 ec0100ax it had 8gb of ram 5.9gb usable and 2.1gb was hardware reserved but it was very low and i could not remove the hardware reserved memory the only option was to upgrade it to 16 gb after i installed one more 8gb ram stick into it 10.1 gb of memory turned hardware reserved and again 5.9gb was only usable pls help me this

System Reserved Memory issue

The reduction in available system memory depends on the configuration of the following:

• The devices that are installed in the computer and the memory that is reserved by those devices
• The ability of the motherboard to handle memory
• The system BIOS version and settings
• The version of Windows 10 that is installed
• Other system settings

As an initial troubleshooting step, I suggest that you check your system for memory problems.

Here's how:

• Type mdsched.exe in the search bar and select the best match.
• When prompted by the User Account Control, enter an admin user name and password, and click
  Yes.
• Follow the on-screen instructions to run it.

Harware Reserved linked to number of processors?

That seems unusually high 50% reserved. Perhaps that is your Video card reserving ram.

The laptop I'm using is a budget Toshiba amd quad core and its graphic card reserves 1gb of ram.

I remember when 256Mb was a lot of ram and you could upgrade to 512 for about 150 bucks (maybe more). Just sayin.
