Discus and support my rioddas dvd player shows up in "my computer" with files, but doesn't play the video on... in Windows 10 Gaming to solve the problem; I have plugged in my new Rioddas DVD/CD player, but when I insert the dvd, no movie comes up.     my rioddas dvd player shows up in "my computer" with files, but doesn't play the video on...


    I have plugged in my new Rioddas DVD/CD player, but when I insert the dvd, no movie comes up. I have checked "my computer" and it appears to recognize the device and I have Media Player on my Windows 11 and Microsoft Home 365. Have I missed something? I had assumed that the video would come up right away. I can hear the DVD player working. Are there other settings that I should check. When I activate the dvd, the microsoft store comes up on my screen with DVD player/ app choices. Thanks!

    Rioddas CD/DVD external player

    I am trying to use the Rioddas CD/DVD external player on my dell Inspiron 15 R in Windows 10. Can't get my computer to recognize the player.

    My Rioddas CD/DVD external player doesn't play

    My Rioddas CD/DVD external player doesn't play. It is getting power and conects okay, but it won't play. A former external drive I had for years worked reliably with no problems. I didn't change anything. Also, the only thing that happens is at start up it takes me to a webpage that has various media players that can be downloaded. However, I have Windows media player installed on my computer and it is the default media app, but I can't get it to play anything from that drive. Any ideas?

    Windows Media Player doesn´t play podcasts - probs with aac audio and h.264 video

    I tried the TCPMP yet - they removed the AAC plugin, so it doesn´t play them, too. I´ve been trying diverse downloads from different links to the TCPMP (0.72 RC1 and 0.71 as well), but none of them was with AAC :-(

    I tried as well to install the ffmpeg plugin (for TCPMP), but that doesn´t work, too.

    The messages after installing the TCPMP from the given URL http://picard.exceed.hu/tcpmp/ looks like this: "Video codec (AVC aka H.264) not supported by the player" and "MPEG4 AAC Audio decoder not included (...) because of intellectual
    property considerations" (whatever...)

    This is driving me mad!

    So my last hope was to improve the Windows Media Player with the codec...

    Any suggestions??
