Windows 10: PC Health Check says my HP DeskPro 600 G4 Win10 is ready for Windows 11 upgrade but when I...

PC Health Check says that my PC HP DeskPro G4 is ready to upgrade from Win10 to Windows 11. But when I go to Windows Update it says that my PC does not meet requirements for Windows 11.Anybody have similar problem?

PC Health Check says I'm ready for Windows 11, but Windows Update disagrees

PC Health Check said this PC wasn't ready for Windows 11, so I upgraded my BIOS to F16 from Gigabyte

PC Health Check now says my PC is ready, but Windows Update doesn't think so.

I'm stuck in a loop:

- Windows Update says I'm not ready, and that I should check PC Health Check

- PC Health Check says I am ready, and offers me a link to the Windows 11 website through the button "More about WIndows 11"

- The Windows 11 website says my PC will run Windows 11, and when I click "Check for Upgrade Now" it opens Windows Update

- Repeat infinitely...

To upgrade an existing win10 system to win 11, even if the system passes health check requires not least editing Bios settings, Secure Boot, TPM, convert MBR to GPT (the latter requires a paid for third party utility)

The win11 health check will show whether TDM v2.0 is available, if it isn't stay with this Win10 PC until you decide to buy a replacement, or buy a new one now.

If its supplied with Win10 ensure the maker states "Ready for win11"

To give a short answer, neither PC has a CPU that's on the current approved list.

Your desktop has a Gen 4 CPU. Win11 requires a Gen 8 or later. I hope that changes before release.
