Windows 10: 100mbps cap why?

Received “new to me” asus ROG GA15CH I’ve confirmed that router and ISP settings are all good. When Ethernet cable is plugged into the new computer my speeds are reduced to 100mbps, while WiFi sits at 866. When I put the ethernet cable put into another computer it works just fine. I’ve wiped the computer of windows 11 and reinstalled windows 10 to hopefully reset settings. I’ve put the speed duplex to 1Gbps, and still nothing.When I was on windows 11 I did a network reset and that seemed to work on the windows 11 but after updating windows 11 I have ran into the same issue. Internet speed got capped in 100mbps

normally my internet is running at 1000mbps, but it will sometimes get capped in 100mbps. i tried rebooting and it helped. But it does not take long for it to happen again and its really annoying.

hello, i have been looking for weeks now to try and fix this? no luck? i see people saying it may be bad wires but mine are all cat 6 i had all mine done off the same reel of wire too, now the one going from my virgin media hub into my second router, when i put that into my xbox upstairs or my laptop direct i get 257mbps thats how i know its not bad wiring. when i connect it into my new router as a access point and use that as a wireless point and to branch mulitpul Ethernets into my bedroom it then everything coming out of my second router get capped at 100mbps i dont think my lan ports are capped because it gives me a option of 1gbps any ideas? il post a photo too of what im looking at:
