Windows 10: I have 13 tracks in my burn list but it only burns 3. This has never happened- what do I do?

I recently purchased a brand new pack of verbatim CDS but they don’t have all the tracks on when I burn them they don’t burn all the tracks.

I tried to drag a .txt file to the burn list, as suggested above, but it will not drop in. I get a message "+add to burn list" but I cannot get it to drop into the burn list. Is there another step I am missing?

More on what I posted, this is a partial list of music files in a folder that I Ripped from a commercial CD using Windows Media Player, shows the song names and includes Album Art:



Right-click and properties gives me more.

I have searched endlessly but cannot find an answer that is acceptable or even comes close to the issue. See the following system information:

Basically if I am burning a list which requires multiple CDs I will receive the error I have indicated in the post title. I can find nothing wrong with the files that justify the error. However, the error is not the only issue. See below for details:

a) when I accept the error by clicking "OK", the burn list suddenly changes to a shorter version, i.e., if the burn list requires X CDs, it will suddenly become a list requiring X-1 CDs. In other words, tracks are automatically deleted from the burn list
without any interaction from me. So if I make a list which will fit on 3 CDs, I will encounter the burn issue and when I accept the "OK" button, the burn list will suddenly shift to tracks that will require 2 CDs. There is no rhyme or reason as to which
tracks will be removed as it is random.

b) I can basically burn any list as long as I stick to 1 CD at a time. If I encounter the "Window Media player cannot burn...." error, I can basically re-order the list, and the burn will be successful. If there is really an issue with one of the tracks,
why does this work around the problem?

The problem started after either of the following updates (I can't say for sure which): KB3206632 (12/13), (KB3201845 (12/10).

The problem cannot be resolved by following any of the previously given answers to this issue and appears to be a new issue with Windows Media player or Windows 10.

I have tried rebuilding the windows media library.

Again, what is causing the burn list to be changed after clicking OK when encountering the error (for multiple CD lists)?

Why when burning a single CD does re-ordering the list seem to resolve the issue with the "problem" track?
