Windows 10: PC display looks strange

Discus and support PC display looks strange in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; Opened my laptop today, search box is gone.     PC display looks strange


    Opened my laptop today, search box is gone. No option to "show search box" after right clicking on the taskbar and then clicking on "Search".Messed around with display settings and resolution. Didn't help.Icons on the taskbar are wider for some reason too.Tabs and search box are elongated on Microsoft edge for some reason.Laptop isn't on tablet mode either.Currently have the latest update installed. I had this problem yesterday which I thought was fixed after restarting my laptop a couple of times and so I deleted my other question. But however, it came back, and I don't really want to restart

    Strange look after cutoff...: last night I shut down the pc cause of the thunderstorm. This morning after it rebooted the display looks very strange: every looks really big but "squeezed". One thing easily noticed is that the wallpaper's left side seems to have vanished. As if the image is now too large...
