    That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

    At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

    Actually, their tech support is pretty useless.

    To get the most and the best help for your problem, search the web. The internet is the no. 1 place to get information to solve your problem. Put a brief description of your problem into a search engine. You'll probably have to re-word your search term a
    few times until you start seeing the kind of information that you need.

    MS tech support is for two types of people:

    • the truly helpless, who can't think of anything better to do, and
    • those who didn't think they should have to make any effort to learn.
    I trust that you are neither of those.

    BTW: Yes, it really is that hard to provide good service. People who understand technology well
    and know how to explain it clearly are rare.

    Tech Support Ransom scam

    No where, while trying to reactivate it, does it state that. As well, in the list of possible reasons for the trouble, that is not listed either. Further compounded by the fact that no where does it state that if your change your motherboard, your licence
    expires, though it does actively state that you CAN reactive your licence if you make a "significant hardware change"( that is straight off the website now). If that was a condition, as you state, reactivation world not be possible and yet, Microsoft themselves
    say it is. Might I also venture that The fact that someone, through the Microsoft website acting as tech support, deleted my link with my device and another(tech support), through the very same place, tried using 2 different keys, which were ultimately not
    accepted, should concern everyone.
