Windows 10: i can only join 1 party

i can only join one Xbox party and talk whenever i try to join another nobody can hear me and i cant hear them either i always have to end up manually resetting my Xbox game bar for it to work again except it still only lets me join one Xbox party and talk

It appears that you can't join party on Xbox app. It is possible that the cause is related to your online safety and privacy settings in which your account is not enabled to join online multiplayer and party chat. Let us check it though by performing some steps.

If we may ask, are you able to join party while using the console? Is your account being managed by parent or organizer under Microsoft family group?

For the meantime, here are the steps on how we can check your online safety and privacy settings to enable your account to join party chat.

• Log in to https://account.xbox.com/settings with Microsoft account.
  
• In the navigation tabs, click Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Windows 10 devices Online Safety
  
• Select Allow for You can create and join clubs, and You can join multiplayer games.
  
• Then click Submit
  

To enable chat for people not on the friends list:

In the table header:

1. Click Privacy
   
2. Select Others can communicate with voice, text, or invites.
   
3. Select Friends or Everyone then click submit.

0x80010108 Error When Joining Parties on Xbox App (Windows 10)

The error code 0x80010108 may occur due to several reasons. It can possibly be due to an incorrect network configuration or an outdated Xbox App. To properly isolate your concern, please provide us the following information:

• Did the issue start after an update?
• Do you have an active Xbox Live Gold subscription?
• Is your computer connected via a wired or a wireless network?
• What troubleshooting steps have you tried so far to resolve the issue?

In the meantime, we suggest that you check the NAT type on the Xbox App by following the steps below:

• Click the Start icon and open the Xbox app.
• Select Settings > Network.
• Under Network status, check the NAT type.

Good LAN party games?

Most of my suggestions have already been listed.

However, I found Swat4 to actually be a pretty fun LAN game, especially at smaller LAN parties.
