Windows 10: Problem with Microsoft 2.4 Ghz Transceiver v7.0

Hi,When I plug in my Microsoft 2.4 Ghz Transceiver v7.0 for my 2000 wireless keyboard and mouse, it's not recognized anymore by any computers, i've used it for more than a year and it worked fine, but now it's like if none of my computers are recognizing the usb transceiver so i can,t use either my keyboard or my mouse?

microsoft 2.4 ghz transceiver Not Recognized

I have a microsoft 2.4 ghz transceiver (v7.0 driver) on Windows 7 i'm using with a Bluetooth wireless mouse and keyboard. When I plug the transceiver into a USB Port, it works for a short time, then stops responding. If I disconnect it from the Port and
reinsert it, an error message says Device Not Recognized. I then move it to an alternative USB Port, where it works for a time and then the same as above occurs. I move it to the last additional USB Port (I have 3), and it works for a time and then stops.
Same message: Device Not Recognized in each Port. When I restart the computer, the USB Ports will work arbitrarily for a short time and then stop in the same manner as described.

In your discussion boards I see the problem where it doesn't work at all, but I don't see my problem where it works for a time and then stops as I hopscotch around my USB Ports. I've tried following some of the suggested fixes, but nothing has helped thus
far. Can you offer any new insights?

Broken Microsoft 2.4 ghz wireless transceiver adapter for Microsoft Wireless 2000

Hello there,

I mistakenly stepped on my 2.4ghz transceiver for my wireless mouse and keyboard. Now it's not working anymore. Is there a way to buy a replacement. Please point me in the right direction.
