Windows 10: Password problem for windown 10

i have a lenovo install win 10, i set password for my admin user to control my brother gaming time. the problem is he went on youtube and looking for the way to change the password of admin user but with out data reset. im trying to set the password again but he still can login when im not home. i dont know how he do it but im sure that the data still there and not been reset. I am really worries about my sercurity for working laptop. do it possible to reset password with out reset data and how to prevent that? i want my laptop get more secureplease help

You can reset your password following the next steps:

• Reboot your computer / Turn your computer on.
• Hold down the Shift key at the start of the boot process to enable the GNU GRUB boot menu (if it does not show)
• Press ESC at the GNU GRUB prompt.
• Press e for edit.
• Use the Arrow keys to highlight the line that begins with kernel and press the e key.
• Go to the very end of the line and add rw init=/bin/bash
• Press Enter and then press b to boot your system.
• Your system will boot up to a passwordless root shell.
• Type in passwd yourusername
• Set your new password.
• Restart your system.

Windows 10 1709 System Restore problems...

That seems to be an attempt at Option 2 in the tutorial, which requires you to
a. Boot to a command prompt (Did you?)
b. You then seem to be mixing steps 3,4 and 5, thus your command is incorrect.

I suggest Option 1 is easier.
