Windows 10: Surface Laptop 6 and Intel Arc graphics with Ultrawide 3440 x 1440 monitor

Our New Surface Laptop 6's are not getting the option to display 3440 x 1440 display resolution for our Ultrawide monitors.I have tried multiple versions of the Intel ARC drivers including the latest version, but the option is simply not available.Surface laptop 5's are not having this issue, and it is across multiple Laptop 6'sIs anyone else having this issue or has a resoltuion?Running Windows 11 23H2.

3840 x2160 resolution but no 3440 x 1440

I have a new 34 inch screen ultrawide and would like to connect my laptop to it. I would like to have 3440x1440 resolution but the max resolution is 3840 x2160 but no proposal for 3440 x 1440. What should I do?

The aspect ratio ('dimensions') of your monitor [3440 x 1440 = 2.39] is different from the aspect ratio of the signal that your graphics card can send [3840 x2160 = 1.78]. As a result, the image on your monitor will be letter-boxed (black bars on the top and bottom) or pillar-boxed (black bars on the side). This can't be helped because the dimensions of the two are different.

You can make the image fill the screen, but that means either squeezing or stretching the image to make it fit.

 

Does windows 10 support 21:9 aspect ratio? 3440 x 1440

I want to buy a new monitor and I don't know is the windows 10 support 3440 x 1440
