Windows 10: How do I fix Win 10 so that it NEVER EVER NEVER EVER NEVER asks for a password?

How is Windows 10 fixed so that it NEVER NEVER NEVER EVER EVER EVER NEVER EVER NEVER EVER NEVER asks for a password? this is beyond irritating to try to fix this horrible problem. What an incredibly stupid design flaw failure from Microsoft.Windows 7 never ever caused this problem.Why is Windows 10 so much worse than Windows 7?

Win 10 not asking for password

Do you use a Microsoft account at present? If so, it may have been set to automatically sign in. You can turn that off, then you would be asked for your password.

But if you are using an automatic sign in, make sure you know what your password is before tuning it off, else you may lock yourself out.

That suggests you are using a local account with a blank password, if the local account has a blank password it will go straight in even with that setting ticked. Just set an easy to remember password should fix that.

 

Win 10 Password

Personal Desktop Computer, Win 10 Home. Live alone, computer in secure room, never had a password to boot up. After latest Win 10 update, keeps asking for password. Have tried 3 different suggestion shown on Web, none work, still asks for password Fortunately
I remembered my Microsoft Acct. password and got logged on using it. Do not want to have to use a password, any Win 10 experts that can show me how to go back to not having to use one? None of the 3 I tried worked.

I suggest you to Save the password in Credential Manager and check. Refer to the steps below:

• Press Windows key + X.
• Click on Control Panel.
• Click on Credential Manager" and select "Windows Credentials".
• Go down to "Generic Credentials" and select "MicrosoftAccount:user=<user_name>" (where <user_name> should be your user name).
• Click "Edit" and Change the password and press "Save".
• Check if issue persists.
