Windows 10: Question Regarding PC Crashes Without BSOD - Kernel-Power Event 41

For the past few months, my computer has started hanging usually once or twice a day, and more often up to 5 times a day recently. It happens most often while gaming, but sometimes when just watching youtube or even while sitting idle. My monitors will freeze while audio continues to play as normal for several seconds, before all audio turns to a static hang-up.Sometimes it will reboot itself after thirty seconds or so, but more often than not I need to hold the power button down on the case and hard restart.Event Viewer always comes back with Kernel-Power Event 41, but the bugcheck code var

1. Are you aware of any changes made on your PC, prior to this issue?
   
2. Is this issue specific while playing a particular game?
   
3. Which edition of Windows are you currently using?
   

A Kernel Power Event 41 can occur in the following scenarios.

Scenario 1: The computer restarts, and there is a Stop error BugcheckCode in the event data.

Scenario 2: The computer is shut down by pressing and holding the power button.

Scenario 3: The system randomly restarts and no Stop error BugcheckCode is listed, or the computer is completely unresponsive (hard hang).

I suggest you refer the article on Kernel
Power Event ID 41 and follow the steps for the scenario that is causing this error on your PC.

Additionally, you can refer the article on Windows

and check if that helps.

No, it is vice versa, not Kernel-Power 41 is result of BSOD but BSOD may be result of power fault indicated by this event.

Yes, there may be some events before BSOD pointing to BSOD reasons but there is no definitive list unfortunately.

Thankyou very much for your reply. In relation to your first post, I have carried out steps 10-22 (apart from step 15, I will attempt to leave it running with this tonight). The screenshots are attached. I have also uninstalled the programmes detailed above. Unfortunately, as my laptop is a custom built from PCSpecialist, they do not provide BIOS updates anywhere easily accessible. I will phoen them today and see if there are any updates.
