  1. Use C:\Users as a partition's mount point

Intro:Windows 11 is hungry for disk space. It slowly eats away at the C: drive and makes me frequently restore factory settings to make it viable for use. Anyone who works with WSL, Docker, IDEs, SDKs... knows what I'm talking about. And we don't have time for that.Current situation:On my device I have two storage units and I would like to do a distribution to better organize the data. The main drive is an M.2 with 256GB of capacity. It is relatively small, but changing it is not possible. It contains the hidden system partitions and the partition that is the C: Drive. The second storage unit is

How to mount the user folder to another partition

I found that my user folder takes too much space on my disk C which has only 120GB. I cannot install more software which must be installed on disk C like visual studio. And as time goes on, appdata directory will be larger and larger. When install the
system, how can I mount the user folder to another partition like I do with linux. What can I do ?

Is it posible to stop an ESP partition in my C: drive to show as a local disk?

    Help, please.

Currently using a home-built desktop PC; I cloned the old HDD system of the previous PC to an SS drive in the new PC and upgraded to Windows 11. After that I had not been able to make Windows 7 Backups.

I have followed a lot of suggestions from these forums, but no solution found.

It seems to be related to the junction point or reparse point (reparse point points to a volume employing FAT file system.) They suggested to check its properties and it is supposed to show "Type is listed as Mounted Volume", but in my case it says "File folder". They suggested to delete the folder, which I did, but when I later checked it was there again.

Checking the partitions in my system drive. I noticed there is a "Primary-FAT32 (LBA) ESP" partition which shows as a local disk

So, my question is: is it posible to stop that ESP partition in my C: drive to show as a local disk?

How to mount the user folder to another partition

But only special folder like Desktop, Document can be moved. I want to move my user folder or mount my user folder to other partition. Because most software store configuration and cache in my user folder.
