In order to assist you better, I would like to know the following queries:

Does the same issue occur with other games?

Do you see flickering screen while using any other program?



If the issue is confined only to the steam games rainbow 6, I would suggest you to re-install the game and see if it helps.



To uninstall the game please follow the steps below:

• Press Windows + R key.
• Type appwiz.cpl and hit enter.
• Find the game from the list and hit uninstall.

steam games rainbow 6 flicker after upgrade to windows 10

I removed steam. I removed all rainbow Six games.

Reinstalled steam, and one Rainbow Six game. It still flickers. I only have rainbow six games. They all have the same problem. No other applications have the flicker, Netflix, amazon prime all work well. videos on face book play without any problems.
One other observation the sound on steam games is fine it is just a video problem.

 

After windows 10 March 2016 update screen is flickering constantly

My computer automatically performed the latest Windows 10 update and since then the screen has flickered constantly. I had already applied the previous fix disabling the problem reports & solutions, and the Windows error reporting service which worked after
I first upgraded from Windows 8.1.

However with this latest update it's back to constantly flickering. I have restarted in safe mode and uninstalled the graphics driver as suggested, removed Norton, disabled Dropbox and Icloud and still it's constantly flashing. I've also tried a clean boot
but it hasn't made a difference.

My computer was working fine before the update. I'm having to research this solution from work as I only have the one computer. It is beyond frustrating and extremely time consuming!
