  2. File ATLAS_DRV64.exe gets deleted automatically

I am using a Terasic DE0-Nano-SoC which connects to the PC via USB and attaches a drive, "G:" in this instance. Something keeps automatically deleting the file "ATLAS_DRV64.exe" in the path "\Drivers\Windows\". On my other computers which do not have Windows
Defender, everything is OK, this file is not deleted.

I am running a laptop with Windows 10. I can access a program and the window has a title "Windows Defender", but I cannot find the security center. I could not find any type of exclusion list.

How can I stop this file "ATLAS_DRV64.exe" from being deleted?

  3. how to reinstall windows defender?

The system is infected by miners and other malware, which have deleted your Defender executables completely. A repair installation is suggested.

Before that, please do the following:

    • Save Fixlist.txt in the same folder where EnglishFRST64.exe is.
    • Close all program windows.
    • Launch the Farbar Scanner tool and click "Fix".
    • Upload the output log file (FixLog.txt) to your OneDrive.

Once done, repair Windows 10. See How to perform an In-place Upgrade with Windows 10 Step-by-Step Guide - Microsoft Community:

  4. Why does Windows defender sometime delete my .exe files?

    File ATLAS_DRV64.exe gets deleted automatically

My company IT security team determined Windows Defender was quarantining the file "ATLAS_DRV64.exe", and it is not malware. They added it to the exclusion list for the whole company. This issue is resolved.
